We keep your child safe: only a first name, grade and class are stored, and reading audio and scores go only to Teacher Mo (Mohammed Shehzad) and — when you choose to share — to your child's own English teacher. Nothing is tracked or advertised.
Privacy & Confidentiality Agreement
ReadAloud is a classroom learning tool for Teacher Mo's (Mohammed Shehzad's) Grade 4–5 students at our school.
- What we collect: a first name (or nickname — full names are never needed), a grade, an optional class, school and English teacher's name (so reports reach the right teacher), reading practice records (stars, scores, dates) and your child's read-aloud audio recordings.
- Why: only to show your child their own progress and let Teacher Mo and your child's own English teacher give feedback. No profiling, no advertising, no third-party trackers or analytics.
- Where it lives: on Teacher Mo's private Cloudflare (China-accessible) account. Recordings are stored privately and are never public or shared with any third party.
- Sharing is always your choice: the Share button creates a link or a picture of the reading summary (stars, what went well, what to practise next) to send to your child's English teacher — for example through WeChat. Summaries contain no audio, and a link works only for the people it is sent to. Scores are never published publicly and students are never compared with each other.
- Your rights (PIPL, China): as the child's parent or guardian you may ask at any time to view, correct or delete your child's information and recordings — message Teacher Mo (Mohammed Shehzad) and it is done. You may also stop using the app at any time.
- Minors: this app is used under teacher supervision and with parent/guardian consent. By ticking "I agree" below you confirm you are the student's parent/guardian (or the teacher setting it up with their approval).
